We manufacture the JC Payne Luton with a uniquely designed aerodynamic pod and collars ensuring smooth airflow around the body.
The engineering and sales team have worked together to develop a body that encompasses the important characteristics of great aesthetics, enhanced payload capabilities and fuel saving.
Whilst the standard JC Payne Luton has the following specifications:
- Loading area length of 4.2m (other lengths can be specified)
- Body Heights & Widths allowances vary depending on manufacturer
- Narrow Lath Shutter
- 15mm Phenolic Floor
- 1 x Row of LoadLok
- 1 x Row Tie Rail
- Column Tail Lift (Optional)
The production team at JC Payne can build the Luton in varying heights and lengths. We can add more LoadLok or Tie Rails if required, and different closure options including Barn Doors or even a Full Closure Tail Lift.

Some manufacturers also offer a low chassis option allowing us to build a Low Frame Luton, which returns a lower floor/bed height and can negate the need for a tail lift. These are quite popular in the Removals industry, when combined with a Flat or sloping front luton body (not our aerodynamic pod) which gives more load volume. Then coupled with ramp access to the rear.
