Curtainside users utilise them in order to transport palletised goods loaded through the side of the body. Typically loaded and unloaded with a forklift in a yard, rather than through the rear doors on a loading bay or on a tail-lift. We manufacture the JC Payne 3.5 tonne Curtainside with a uniquely designed aerodynamic pod and collars ensuring smooth airflow around the body. This negates the need for an air deflector whilst also as a result, giving a little more load space. However we can use an normal air deflector if required.
