Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles recently announced new converter recognition scheme, where converted vans will be fully covered by the manufacturer’s warranty if carried out by one of the approved suppliers.

VW Commercial Vehicles Recognised Converter

The Converter Recognition Scheme is a programme designed by VW to offer a range of off-the-shelf and bespoke conversions through Volkswagen’s dedicated Van Centre network that are provided by converters who have been audited to VW’s high standards of quality and have been successfully approved. Available conversions include access platforms, car transporters, cranes, minibuses and mobile workshops, as well as Luton’s, dropsides, tippers, racking, refrigeration, welfare and wheelchair access vehicles.
