Greg joined us on Monday 14th January 2019 as Head of Technical, and reports to Operations Director David Scorer, he will be responsible for overseeing all organisational engineering aspects of the business, to develop the strategy for the engineering function and manage resources to meet the company goals.
Greg is studying for his bachelor’s degree from the University of Lincoln and has more than 37 years of engineering experience in the military as a Royal Air Force Engineer. Finishing his career as a Flight Commander at HMS Forward in Birmingham.
Greg is a keen athlete who has also participated in many athletics competitions, becoming:
- British Champion – indoor pentathlon (Men 50) 2014 at the British Masters (World Record Holder)
- World Champion – 60m hurdles (Men 50) in 2014 at the World Masters.
- World Champion – 110m hurdles (Men 45) in 2009 & 2013 at the World Masters.
- European Champion – 110m & 400m (Men 40) in 2004 at theEuropean Veterans Athletics
When he’s not working, at the gym, or training for his next race, you can find him looking for his next DIY project and he is also a practising freemason.
