First and foremost, I hope that you and your families remain in good health and are safe at this time.
Following on from the Prime Ministers’ address last night and the ongoing Coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak, as a board of directors we have made the difficult decision to close JC Payne’s commercial vehicle body manufacturing facility for an initial two week period with the majority of the workforce being furloughed.
We have done this in order to ensure the highest level of safety for our colleagues and customers.
Obviously, this will result in a knock-on effect on completed product leaving the factory, and I would ask for your support and patience during this time.
Our aftersales support engineers continue to operate at this time and the directors will continue to be working to ensure continuity of critical business needs, but again I would ask for your support and patience when making contact.
We will keep you updated in the coming weeks and look forward to getting back to business as soon as we are able.
